copied guidelines

Postby nadir » Wed Mar 09, 2011 6:33 am

it is quite easy:
Code: Select all
Only the community may decide what is in it's best interest.

"There is no need to further discuss this matter":
the admins and mods are the comedians to execute the will of the users.

Thats all.
So i herd u liek mudkip?

imade the "guidelines" a sticky.
As this forum is tiny, and silent, it might not make much sense.
Still i want to stress it.
I also wanted to stress that, as long i am the owner, it will stay that way.
So i herd u liek mudkip?

Not to sound like an ***, but wouldn't your last statement there be contradictory to your guidelines? If the will of the community is to change the guidelines, but you are still the owner so it will stay the way it is, doesn't that mean the will of the community is not law? Please, if I am missing something in translation please point it out to me.

you might not want to, but you sound like.
No need to make if difficult.
If you want to find yourself in idle discussions you know where to find that.

the translation joke is getting a bit lame.
each joke is funny once or twice.

You presume too much. First, I was not trying to make it difficult, just trying to make sure I understand how we are going to play ball here. Second, discussion only becomes idle when you find yourself beating a dead horse. Third, and where the bulk of the presumption lies....I was not making a joke about translation. Sometimes the way you write, I have to re-read a few times to make sure I get it all. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything.

well: and the funny thing is that the translation-joke always happens _after_ someone else said it already.
Then all the cats join in and think it is necessary to repeat it a few times.
It also only happens in case one does not agree (else it does not happen).
Others have no problems.

So, you got any ideas how to change it, yes or no?
The community may decide what it wants to. But:
As soon there are leaders who decide, i am out.
As soon there are hidden areas (besides the training/test area) i am out.
As soon posts get edited, i am out.
As soon threads get deleted or moved, i am out.
It is the same for anything similar.
The community can then do whatever they want
(for example decide that the actual "guidelines" are not valid anymore).
That easy.
So i herd u liek mudkip?

Nowhere did I say I didn't agree, again, presumption is a dangerous thing. All I was doing was clarifying something between what you said and how I was interpreting it. Now that it is cleared up, I can move on.

To answer your question, no I do not have any ideas on how to change it...Don't think it needs to be changed now that I have my head wrapped around it fully.
