Not really a how-to, more a short note so i don't need to search each time.
If doing developing stuff i usually did
Code: Select all
apt-get install build-essential

and then had to install all kind of other stuff manually (most of them i can't remember the correct names, searching for dev is not very helpful).

I found a better solution at the site of R.Hertzog:

apt-get install packaging-dev

No problem. I just saved it here, as i was tired to search each and every time at R.Herzogs web-site (which always took a while). Searching for "apt-cache search dev" or "apt-cache search packaging" never helped ... :-)
So i herd u liek mudkip?
