When you boot live media (or when you make the snapshot) add the following to the boot command.
Code: Select all
swap=true

To edit a boot command at the boot menu, if booting grub, press "e" , and if booting isolinux, press TAB.

from the live-boot man page (which has other cool options in it):
swap=true
This parameter enables usage of local swap partitions.
