Problem in Installation

Postby Jeffersonrc » Wed Mar 08, 2017 12:11 pm

Have a problem in installation RefractaInstaller.
I use slackware, and when I install the Debian-based distribution everything works fine.
But after the screen of the bios the grub mao carries and gives the error:
Lilo keytable checksum error.
I already tried installing with mbr and it did not work

Is this the same problem as this? grub-not-found-t707.html

If it is, please stick to one thread.

What's in the error log? (/home/user/refractainstaller_error.log or /var/log/refractainstaller_error.log)

Please give more information about what you did and what you tried to do to fix it.

Duplicate post. (I posted on the wrong thread, because they look so much alike.)

Boot from the install media.
At the boot menu, scroll down to "Boot hard disk" and see if you can boot.
If that does not work, do it again, but choose "Boot hard disk (old way)".
Let us know what happens.
